To get started, make a decision. I’ve been talking myself out of writing for years. I’ve written before, but I'm convinced I’m not a writer or that writing is dead, yet here I am logging the more books, starting a book club and devouring everything Ann Patchett has to say.

The hardest element is not the idea, the space, nor the materials. The ideas, so many ideas! The accomplishments I’d logged and the parties I’ve thrown while driving my children to school. It’s the blank paper, the empty canvas, the clean house that will create stumbling blocks. Ideas, they can be messy. They are the toddlerhood of a great accomplishment. They take different routes, demand attention and mess everything up along the way. The path to the gym and clean eating, well you can throw that away, there is work to be done on this empty canvas. 

I’ve had this idea, Lucibox, for 3 years. Off we go. -MJ
